Floodlights are mounted where they get the full force of the weather, and they draw more current than small decorative lights. The Flood Light Waterproof Connector is a sealed power connector built for that load. Its molded housing encloses the live splice against rain and spray, while the terminals and contacts are sized for the higher current a floodlight demands, so the connection runs cool and stays dry under continuous use. The body is compact enough to sit close to the light housing, keeping the cable run short and the junction protected.

Because the whole joint is enclosed rather than left as bare wires wrapped in tape, there are no exposed contacts to corrode and nothing that loosens with vibration. For lighting manufacturers, contractors and distributors, this makes floodlight installations more dependable and easier to commission.

Floodlight connectors are often matched to a specific light or a particular cable and current requirement. The manufacturing value lies in building the connector to the actual application: we produce to drawings and samples so the connector rating, body size and cable entry match the floodlight's power draw and lead-in cable. When an unusual housing shape or higher-current terminal is needed, our in-house tooling and molding let us develop that variation in-house rather than sourcing it externally.

We adjust terminal current rating, body size and cable entry to match a specific floodlight. Production is based on customer drawings or a reference sample. Standard orders start at 500–1,000 pieces; a new body design requires a mold, discussed when volume justifies it.
